As
an artist and designer of 25 years standing, I continue to study the "old"
so
as to develop the "new". I have an inner driving force that compels
me to create art using traditional Medieval & Celtic methods and designs.
I have been doing this for 18 years now.
The beautiful and powerful art and
designs of the Celtic people is fascinating. I love the bright jewel like colours,
intricate miniature designs and perceived meaning of their art.
This is true
also for Heraldry. I believe my art has to have a spiritual connection that reaches
to the soul.
While I study and learn, I develop new and innovative ways to
make it meaningful for this day and age. I create detail and miniature work on
suede, vellum, watercolour paper, canvas, fabric and other surfaces.
Commissioned
work is most welcome. I am now manufacturing my original art in print form. A
written meaning comes with each design.
